Lesson / WY-03-14
Same-direction comparison first asks whether one side is strengthening or weakening relative to itself. Compare the current downswing with previous downswings in net displacement, development over time, trading activity, bar overlap, closes, and the reaction at the lower boundary. Shorter downward displacement, fewer low closes, and increased trading that cannot extend progress suggest declining supply efficiency.
