Lesson / WY-03-16
Jump Across the Creek (JAC) describes an upward crossing of the range's upper boundary or a major supply band. It is essentially an SOS at a key location. The 'creek' comes from a resistance line in older illustrations, but real highs rarely align at one price. Treat the area of repeated resistance, concentrated trading, and multiple declines as a supply band. Continually moving the boundary to make a particular candle count as a breakout destroys the JAC's comparison baseline.
