Lesson / WY-04-19
An Upthrust (UT) occurs when price crosses an established upper boundary or previous high, cannot hold above it, and returns to the range. It can appear in Phase B or serve as a later test. The focus is not wick shape but what follows the breach: no continuing higher swings, a decline back into the former trading area, and subsequent rallies struggling to regain the breach location.
