Lesson / WY-04-19
Upthrust After Distribution (UTAD) is an upper-side demand test late in distribution development. After an established range and supply clues, price crosses the upper boundary. If higher prices fail to attract sustained buying and sellers push price back inside, demand failed to maintain the breach. 'After Distribution' means substantial two-way trading has already occurred, with shortening upswings or expanding declines. It describes the structural role of market behavior, not an operator's prearranged upward probe. One new high cannot establish distribution.
