Consolidations, Rallies, and Candidate Redistribution During a Decline
Distribution
Lesson / WY-04-20
Sideways trading during a decline cannot immediately be called redistribution. It may reflect short covering, temporary demand support, contracting volatility, or develop into reversal accumulation. Only comparable two-way swings and boundaries make it suitable for analysis as a new trading range. Restart with whether the old trend stopped and which side is more effective within the range, rather than mechanically copying labels from the original top.
