Higher-Timeframe Structures and Lower-Timeframe Events
Continuation and Complex Structures
Lesson / WY-05-24
The higher timeframe shows location; the lower timeframe shows how price reached it. Longer periods aggregate many transactions and small swings into one bar or swing, while shorter periods reveal their local supply-demand changes. They show the same transactions at different aggregation scales, not independent markets. Near a context-timeframe supply zone, a lower-timeframe SOS can be valid while upward room is limited. During an intact context uptrend, lower-timeframe SOW may be only a pullback yet sufficient to stop out a local long. Assess separately an event's validity, directional meaning, and the scale of objective it can support.
