Holding Objectives, Available Room, and Observation Scale
Continuation and Complex Structures
Lesson / WY-05-24
The intended holding period determines the main analytical scale. To capture a daily swing, organize the trade around daily key highs and lows, range boundaries, and potential objectives; shorter timeframes refine only the trigger. For an intraday swing, the weekly chart mainly supplies nearby resistance, support, and risk context. Using a structure far larger than the intended holding period to justify short-term losses changes the original trade's nature.
