The Progression of Evidence in Complete Accumulation
The Complete Decision Process
Lesson / WY-07-30
Possible accumulation usually begins when a downtrend stops. PS, SC, the automatic rally, and ST can define Phase A, though they need not appear neatly. PS shows only that buying support temporarily stopped the decline there. Urgent selling and buying absorption jointly create high SC volume; ordinary charts cannot identify participants. The automatic rally may also include short covering and withdrawing offers. Only when decline ceases, a rally establishes an upper reference, and price then moves between them can a range be provisionally identified. Accumulation and redistribution remain competing explanations. An eventual upward departure cannot retrospectively prove that identifiable participants had completed accumulation in Phase A.
