Reaccumulation: Continuation Context Alongside Reversal Evidence
The Complete Decision Process
Lesson / WY-07-30
Reaccumulation is a possible balance area within an uptrend. Prior advance makes continuation a coherent initial explanation, but if successive highs before the range add progressively less distance beyond the preceding same-direction high—a possible SOT—along with high volume without progress and deep reactions, retain distribution as an alternative. Full-swing magnitude, volume, and duration help assess quality but cannot replace SOT's measurement of incremental distance between same-direction extremes. A shallow range, limited declines, and quick recovery after buying support favor continuation. Ongoing downward range expansion and weakening recovery mean prior trend context is losing explanatory power.
