Lesson / WY-02-08
A bar’s shape belongs within horizontal areas, trend stage, and the current swing. A downward probe and recovery near support initially shows only that lower prices were not retained. If preceding downward progress was already shortening and demand subsequently crosses and holds a local high, buying support becomes more plausible. The same lower wick in the range middle is usually only an intrabar retreat because it tests no important boundary.
