Combining Volume with Price, Location, and Subsequent Behavior
Price & Volume
Lesson / WY-02-09
Volume describes activity, while range, body, close, and displacement show how price changed. Active trading with wide progress, a close at the directional end, and subsequent retention shows greater trading accompanied by proportionate movement. Active trading with limited incremental displacement, increasing overlap, or retreating closes shows meaningful opposition. This may be absorption, two-way turnover, or temporary congestion; observe the subsequent departure direction.
