Lesson / WY-02-11
Support is an area where falling price previously met buying or stopped, and where behavior may be affected again. Resistance is an area where rising price previously met supply or stopped. These areas come from visible reactions, concentrated trading, breakout origins or rejected boundary crossings, not from a line with an exact mechanical effect. Actual transactions, discrete quotations and endpoints on different timeframes give each area width.
