Lesson / WY-02-11
A breakout crosses an overhead resistance area; a breakdown crosses support below. A single crossing may leave only a wick or extend to further highs or lows. The original structure begins to change only when price trades persistently outside the boundary and forms new swings. More extensive confirmation usually puts entry further from the initial risk boundary.
