Lesson / WY-02-11
A trend-line break is a geometric fact: price crosses a diagonal line defined by selected anchors. Its most direct meaning is that the original slope was not maintained. If horizontal highs and lows, key areas and the ability to progress remain intact, the market may simply continue in the same direction at a gentler slope. A line break is a useful prompt to investigate, not a sufficient reversal conclusion by itself.
