Where Analysis Begins and How Timeframes Work Together
First Principles
Sam Rivera
Lesson / WY-01-01
Each analysis begins with the actual market to be traded and a clearly defined observation time. First check the instrument, contract, data completeness, and major events, then save a chart showing only information available at that time. Work downward through timeframes: mark the main trend and important areas on the higher timeframe, the current structure and boundaries on the trading timeframe, and observe entry-timeframe triggers only at planned locations.
