Early, Confirmed, and Retest Participation
Decisions, Execution & Validation
Lesson / WY-06-28
Early participation occurs when an event first supplies directional-change evidence, such as a Spring recovering the range, an Upthrust returning inside, or a first turn at a range edge. This excludes uninterrupted outward extension but not another breach after recovery, further range expansion, or an opposite response lasting only one short swing. Participants accept these unresolved possibilities for earlier execution and potentially more target room. Earlier does not guarantee a better fill: the shock bar may be wide, market slippage larger, and protection beyond the complete extreme may still create high unit risk.
